When it comes to drugs and alcohol, think about how often and how much you drink in front of your preteen, and be thoughtful about how you talk about alcohol or drugs (including prescription drugs) in front of them. Model safe behaviors. Be critical about information you read on the internet that’s not from a reliable source, and be really careful about sharing any personal information or geographic location on social media.
